Right at Home Leeds East is a leading homecare provider, known for delivering top-quality care to individuals in the comfort of their own homes and for valuing and rewarding our brilliant Care Assistants. We are looking to recruit an experienced carer with experience in Dementia and the wider world. Our client is very well educated and well travelled, we would like someone who is articulate, interested in politics and travel. The client has had the benefit of two senior carers for the last two years. The client is based in Walton, Wakefield.
The hours of work are between 9am - 2pm Monday to Friday. You might be required to work on a weekend depending on the needs of the client.
What will you receive?
- Premium hourly rates £14.40-£15.00 and additional mileage pay 35p per mile.

What will you be doing?
- Motivating the Client to get the most out of their day.
- Companionship.
- Shopping.
- Light housekeeping.
- Preparation of nutritious meals.
- Taking the client out for appointments or outings.
What do you need?
- Be available between 9am - 2pm Monday to Friday and occasionally on weekends to cover as and when required.
- Must hold a full and valid UK or EU/EEA driving license and have access to own vehicle.
- Have or be willing to obtain Class 1 Business Insurance for your vehicle.
- Have the Right to Work in the UK.
- Be a reliable team player with a caring and positive attitude.
If you have experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, Carer, HCA, Health Care Assistant or in the NHS we would love to hear from you. However, if you don’t have experience, we provide full training and induction to help you feel comfortable in your new career.
