We're Right at Home Oxford — an Outstanding-rated home care company that's been looking after older people across Oxfordshire since 2019. We're proud of what we do. Our clients rate us 9.9/10. Our CQC inspectors gave us the highest possible rating. Our team wins staff satisfaction awards year after year.

But here's the thing — not enough people in Oxfordshire know we exist. And that's where you come in. We're looking for someone with energy, warmth and brilliant organisational skills to get out there, tell our story, build genuine relationships across the community — and help us double the number of families we can support.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Getting out and about: visiting GP surgeries, retirement housing schemes, occupational therapists, discharge teams and community organisations across Oxford — building relationships that bring families to us when they need care.
  • Running brilliant events: co-managing our monthly Sunflower Café (our dementia community event), our weekly chair-based exercise class in Kidlington, and organising seasonal events for clients and families.
  • Owning our social media: creating warm, real, on-brand content for Facebook and Instagram that shows the world what Right at Home Oxford is really about.
  • Co-ordinating our campaigns: managing monthly leaflet drops across Oxford, supporting our Google Ads agency, briefing newsletters, chasing reviews and keeping Care Choices listings current.
  • Telling our story to the press: pitching features to the Oxford Mail, Oxford Times and local papers around our award wins, dementia awareness months and care milestones.
  • Helping us win awards: we're entered for the Oxfordshire Care Awards, Great British Care Awards and more — you'll help pull together compelling submissions.
  • Growing into the Cotswolds: from autumn 2026 we're launching a new territory covering Witney, Chipping Norton and Burford — you'll help us build our presence there too.

Who We're Looking For

  • You're a people person. You light up a room, you're easy to talk to, and you genuinely enjoy meeting new people and making connections.
  • You're brilliantly organised. You juggle things without dropping them. Multiple campaigns, contacts and events don't stress you — they energise you.
  • You care about doing good work that has a real purpose. Home care for older people isn't a glamorous industry, but it's one of the most important things there is.
  • You're digitally comfortable. You know your way around Facebook, Instagram and Canva. You're not afraid of a spreadsheet or a Mailchimp campaign.
  • You can write with warmth. Short posts, newsletter intros, press pitches — you know how to get the tone right for the audience.
  • You're a self-starter. You don't need someone to hand you a to-do list every morning. You take ownership and get things done.
  • You hold a full UK driving licence and can travel around Oxfordshire — because a lot of this role is out in the field.

Previous experience in marketing, events, community engagement, healthcare or a customer-facing role would be a big plus — but what matters most is your attitude, your energy and your drive.

The Good Stuff

  • £25,000 – £27,000 depending on experience, plus a performance bonus when we hit our growth targets.
  • A role you can genuinely make your own. This is a brand new position — you're not stepping into someone else's shoes, you're building something.
  • A team that actually cares. We're an Outstanding-rated care business with an award-winning culture. "One Team Oxford" isn't just a slogan.
  • Real variety. Events, social media, community visits, press, digital, print — no day looks the same.
  • Purpose. Every enquiry you generate could be the moment a family finally finds the right care for someone they love.
  • Flexibility. Office and field— structured around the role.
  • Mileage paid at the HMRC approved rate for all business travel.
  • Career progression as we grow into the Cotswolds and beyond — we promote from within wherever we can.

Sound like you? We'd love to hear from you. Please apply now! We'll be reviewing applications as they come in, so don't wait. Any offer of employment will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and two satisfactory references. Right at Home Oxford is an equal opportunities employer committed to safeguarding vulnerable adults.
