Main Duties and Responsibilities

·Oversee and maintain the highest standards of care delivery to all clients.

·Lead, supervise, and support a team of Care Assistants.

·Conduct client assessments, develop person-centred care plans, and review them regularly.

·Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and internal quality standards.

·Monitor care delivery through regular spot checks, audits, and service reviews.

·Create, maintain, and publish staff rosters using electronic rostering systems.

·Manage short notice changes due to sickness, leave, or emergencies.

·Coordinate with senior management to ensure adequate staffing levels.

·Handle new care enquiries, referrals, and assessments professionally and promptly.

·Recruit, onboard, and train new care staff in line with company procedures.

·Deliver ongoing support and training to the care team to maintain best practices.

·Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.

·Respond to and resolve client or staff complaints and concerns appropriately.

·Provide regular reports to senior management on service performance, staffing, and risks.

·Participate in on-call duties as required to support out-of-hours service needs.

·Promote a positive team culture and always lead by example.

Qualifications and Experience

·Hold, or be working towards, QCF Level 5 qualification in Social Care

·In depth understanding of CQC assessment criteria for Good and Outstanding scores

·Junior management experience of service provision in the care industry
