Due to the nature of work we will only consider candidates who live in South Wales. We are seeking an experienced Live in Carer that is able to support Live in care packages. This will include:
- Companionship and accompanying client to social events if required
- Personal Care
- Moving and Handling tasks
- Medication support – prompting and administration
- Continence Management
- Cooking – taking into account nutritional needs
- Housekeeping (including domestic duties around the home)
Essential:
- Caring, compassionate and empathetic nature
- 100% reliable
- Must be able to communicate clearly and have a good command of the English language
- Must have clean DBS
- Three references are required
- Must be eligible to work in the UK and provide proof of this at interview
- Respect for client confidentiality and discretion at all times
This is a great opportunity to earn an excellent wage and to make a real difference. Main meals provided when on duty in client's home. Room provided for carer on duty. Full office advice and guidance and out of hours support. Fully assessed live in packages completed and care plans and risk assessments in place.
