Main Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor the development, coordination and implementation of a full range of HR activities, functions and policies.
- Provide HR service to the site management team and partner with both site management and BU HR teams.
- Ensure the necessary policies, procedures and processes are in place to maintain legal compliance with UK employment law and immigration requirements.
- Contribute to the safety and continuous improvement activity as a member of the Health, Safety and Environment Committee Meeting.
- Ensure the UK management population are trained and equipped with the knowledge of the policies and procedures.
- Support employee relations at the sites by engaging positively with local union representatives.
- Manage the payroll provision for the UK sites ensuring compliance with all HMRC requirements.
- Ensure provision of a time and attendance system that supports payroll processes.
- Maintain HR systems and databases (Workday) ensuring data accuracy in line with GDPR requirements.
- Manage the Company Sponsorship Management System ensuring compliance with UK Visa and Immigration requirements.
- Manage the Company employee benefit offering and renewal processes.
- Manage the agreed monthly attendance review processes.
- Support the EHS processes in the plant from a process and procedure perspective.
- Manage the maintenance of records of employee training ensuring all mandatory training is tracked and kept up to date.
- In conjunction with central compensation and benefits organisation ensure salary and benefits are in line with market trends and levels.
- Approach the job in a flexible and progressive manner to develop the department and its function.
- Contribute to the formulation of the Company’s strategy and business plans.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Business Management or HR Management or similar.
- Min. 4 years of experience in HR Management, payroll management and benefit provision.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Fluent English.
- Full UK driving license.
