As a 12th Knot Waiter, you will be an essential part of our front-of-house team, delivering outstanding service to our guests. Your role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have a memorable and enjoyable experience in our rooftop bar. The role will report directly to the 12th Knot General Manager and will have a dotted reporting line to the Floor Supervisor at the location the position is based at.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional guest service by creating a warm welcome, taking accurate orders, and ensuring a positive dining experience throughout.
  • Set up and maintain tables and dining areas to high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately, ensuring efficient order delivery.
  • Demonstrate strong menu knowledge, offering recommendations and promoting specials to enhance the guest experience.
  • Engage with guests professionally, handling enquiries and special requests while ensuring satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams, manage billing transactions, and uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Skills and Knowledge
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal, listening, writing).
  • Experience in hotel operations and service quality levels.
  • Strong organization and analytical skills in problem-solving.
  • Ability to acquire, maintain and influence relationships, e.g., stakeholders, customers, vendors, and investors.
  • Knowledge of the markets specific luxury / lifestyle hotel sector.
  • Effective conflict and change management skills.
  • Experience in a rooftop bar.
Salary: £12.71 p/h + service charge, plus benefits.
