As the Group & Events Manager, you will be responsible for selling and planning events in both our London Hotels, as well as managing confirmed groups. This regional role requires a proven track record in event sales, strong organization & communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients. The role will report directly to the Regional Head of Groups & Events.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop a knowledge of competitor properties and enquiry sales processes.
  • Conduct site inspections and meetings with clients to showcase the hotel's facilities and discuss specific event requirements.
  • Work closely with clients to plan and detail their events, including room layouts, catering menus, audiovisual requirements, and any special requests.

PROFESSIONAL/PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal, listening, writing).
  • Experience in hotel operations and service quality levels.
  • Strong organization and analytical skills in problem-solving.
  • Ability to acquire, maintain and influence relationships e.g., stakeholders, customers, vendors, investors.
  • Effective conflict and change management skills.
  • Knowledge of the markets specific luxury / lifestyle hotel sector.
