As Laundry Room Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day running of our in-house laundry, ensuring that linens, uniforms, and guest items are processed to the highest quality. You will lead a small team, manage workflow, and ensure that operations are efficient, safe, and in line with brand standards. This role is ideal for someone with an eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, and a passion for maintaining the impeccable standards our guests expect.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise daily laundry operations, including washing, drying, pressing, and distribution.
- Ensure all items (linen, uniforms, and guest laundry) meet the highest quality standards.
- Train, support, and motivate the laundry team to deliver efficient and consistent service.
- Monitor stock levels of linen, chemicals, and supplies, arranging orders as needed.
- Maintain health, safety, and hygiene standards in all laundry areas.
- Coordinate with the Housekeeping and Front Office teams to meet operational needs.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure laundry equipment is well maintained and report any issues promptly.
- Assist with scheduling, rota management, and performance tracking for the laundry team.
Salary: £30,744 p/a + service charge, plus benefits
