Join us and be part of something extraordinary!Supervise and monitor the development, coordination and implementation of a full range of HR activities, functions and policies, provide HR service to the site management team and partner with both, site management and BU HR teams.
Main Responsibilities Ensure the necessary policies, procedures and processes are in place to maintain legal compliance with UK employment law and immigration requirements.
As a member of the Health, Safety and Environment Committee Meeting, contribute to the safety and continuous improvement activity in this area.
Ensure the UK management population are trained and equipped with the knowledge of the policies and procedures to embed them in the the employee relations at the sites by engaging positively with local union representatives to ensure a conducive employee relations landscape including pay negotiations as well as ongoing communication via union committee processes.
Manage the payroll provision for the UK sites is running effectively.
Ensure compliance with all HMRC requirements, including taxation, social security and national minimum wage.
Ensure provision of a time and attendance system that supports the payroll processes from the perspective of managing overtime, holiday tracking and absence management.
Maintain HR systems and databases (Workday) ensuring data accuracy in line and in line with GDPR requirements.
Manage the Company Sponsorship Management System ensuring 100% compliance with UK Visa and Immigration requirements.
Manage the Company employee benefit offering and renewal processes.
Manage the agreed monthly attendance review processes.
Support the EHS processes in the plant from a process and procedure perspective.
Manage the maintenance of records of employee training ensuring that all mandatory training is tracked and kept up to conjunction with central compensation and benefits organisation ensure that salary and benefits are in line with market trends and levels.
The job holder is expected to approach the job in a flexible and progressive manner and undertake those tasks necessary to develop the department and its function in meeting the Company’s present and future needs.
To contribute to the formulation of the Company’s strategy and business plans.
Qualifications and Experience Degree in Business Management or HR Management or similar Min. 4 years of experience in HR Management, payroll management and benefit provision Excellent communication and presentation skills Proficient in MS Office applications Fluent English Full UK driving license
