CPL healthcare UK are urgently looking for a Stroke Consultant to start ASAP for 3 months initially with a view to extend further for a client of ours based in Wales.
Job detail:
- The ward work is to attend daily Board Round, then doing daily consultant ward round with juniors to see stroke patients.
- All new patients, acute stroke patients and sick patients must need a consultant ward round daily.
- The stable rehab patients must need a consultant ward round every 4 days.
- Other ward work will include authorising electronic discharge summaries and attending stroke MDT.
- 10 session plan Acute Stroke/rehab Ward cover, including 1 session Weds PM for SPA, 2 half sessions for clinical admin.
- All time during these sessions would be undertaken on site including admin and SPA.
- No on-call.
- TIA clinic not as yet required but may be in the future.
Monday to Friday schedule:
- AM: Ward
- PM: Ward/Admin
Essential requirements:
- GMC with license to practice
- Right to work in the UK
- Minimum 6 month NHS experience
