Role Overview

We are seeking a Consultant Radiologist to join SRH for a minimum 12-week locum contract. This role is ideal for a radiologist with experience in general radiology, including ultrasound and cross-sectional imaging.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct and report general ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, pelvic, small parts, vascular, and musculoskeletal
  • Interpret CT and MRI scans across multiple body systems (neuro, chest, abdomen, pelvis, musculoskeletal)
  • Deliver clear, concise, and actionable radiology reports to referring clinicians
  • Communicate urgent or unexpected findings promptly to clinical teams following Trust protocols
  • Maintain high standards of professional practice and patient care

Requirements

  • Full GMC registration
  • On the Specialist Register in Clinical Radiology
  • Experience in general ultrasound and cross-sectional reporting
