CPL UK are looking for a Locum Consultant in Haematology for a well-known Trust based in Surrey. This position is long term cover (7 months) with a view to extend.

Your main base will be Ashford/St Peter’s Hospital with a 1:8 non-residential on call rota covering both clinical and laboratory Haematology. This will cover both the St Peters Hospital site and Royal Surrey County Hospital site. You may be required to work at any other Trust site from time to time, or any other location where the Trust provides services.

Description

  • Monday am: DCC administration/ in-reach SPH ward round
  • Monday pm: Outpatient clinic- St Peter’s
  • Tuesday am: Investigative or laboratory work/ DCC administration
  • Tuesday pm: Investigative or laboratory work/ DCC administration
  • Wednesday am: DCC administration
  • Wednesday pm: Outpatient clinic- Ashford
  • Thursday am: In-reach SPH ward round Clinical Management
  • Thursday pm: MDT/ DCC administration
  • Friday am: SPH- Outpatient Clinic
  • Friday pm: CPD
  • Saturday am: RSCH- Ward Round and on site laboratory support (1:8) – predictable on call
  • Sunday am: RSCH- Ward Round and on site laboratory support (1:8) – predictable on call

Requirements

  • MUST have GMC with license to practice
  • MUST have right to work in the UK
  • MUST have UK experience

We can assist with updating your compliance, planning travel and accommodation, providing mandatory training/CPD courses and we are also a designated body with the GMC offering services for appraisal and revalidation.
