Cpl UK Healthcare (formerly RIG Locums) is seeking a General Adult Specialty doctor, NHS based in Park Royal, West London. The role offers highly negotiable rates for a dedicated psychiatrist. The trust seeks an enthusiastic and motivated Specialty Doctor to work in their 18-bed mixed gender ward. This full-time position is ideal for someone looking to broaden their experience in acute psychiatry and develop clinical skills in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment and management of adults with mental health issues, including risk assessment
- Implementing treatment plans using evidence-based pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions, following NICE guidelines
- Formulating psychiatric opinions and care plans
- Participating fully in the multidisciplinary team
- Monitoring patients and facilitating discharges to maintain flow
- Supporting staff with Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act applications
- Providing clinical support to MDT team
- Maintaining accurate records as per guidelines
- Assisting Consultants in ward rounds, meetings, and preparing reports for tribunals
