RIG Locums are currently looking for a locum General Paediatric Consultant to cover a long term post in Scotland.

Location: Scotland

Details:

  • 4 months with a view to extend
  • Working days: Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:00, 40 hours (HOT WEEK on calls)
  • Day Rate: £110 plus per hour depending on experience
  • Start date: September 2024
  • Remote work: Onsite

We have a number of consultant on call hot weeks requiring cover throughout September – December. Hot weeks are Monday-Friday, covering the General Paediatric Unit. Weekend on calls may also be available with both General Paediatrics and Neonatal units covered over weekends.

To apply we will require the following documents:

  • Current General Medical Council registration with a licence to practice
  • Two recent satisfactory professional references (for work undertaken within the last 12 months)
  • PVG Disclosure Scotland clearance
  • Occupational Health Clearances – these must be from a UK laboratory (we cannot accept OH documents from out with the UK)
  • Photo ID, passport with the photo clearly visible
  • Proof of right to work in UK – LTR/Visa stamp

We cannot offer sponsorship; We require the Right to Work in the UK.

We can easily assist with updating your compliance, planning travel and accommodation, providing mandatory training/CPD courses and we are also a designated body with the GMC offering services for appraisal and revalidation.
