Cpl UK Healthcare (formally RIG Locums) are currently looking for an experienced Forensic Consultant, based in North Wales. The post is full time, comprising of 10 x sessions. Consultant required to work in our Forensic Medium Secure Unit.
Clinical duties will include:
- Comprehensive assessment of referrals
- Leadership of MDT
- Working to the requirements of the MH (Wales) Measure
- Clinical supervision and practice development of medical, nursing and other staff
- Provision of specialist forensic assessment from the Courts, MAPPA and NOMS
- Provide specialist forensic assessments and consultation advice to CMHTs and acute inpatient services in North Wales
The Consultant team work to a model such that each has primary responsibility for a caseload within the inpatient provision. Timetable upon request.
Location: North Wales
Hours per week: Full time, 40 hours per week
Working days: Monday till Friday
Length of Contract: Ongoing long term
Start date: ASAP
Remote work: On site
