RIG Locums are looking for a number of experienced Locum Registrars (working at ST5-7 level) in Obstetrics and Gynaecology to take up a locum placement in the Birmingham area.
These locum roles are for three months initially but likely to extend to six months. The doctor will work a full time rota including days, nights and weekends. On calls can be added or removed from the rota as per your preference. We may also be able to offer Mon-Fri day shifts.
We are hoping to hear from doctors who are free immediately to start as soon as possible. Duties include labour ward, theatres and gynaecology clinics/emergencies. This is a large maternity unit so doctors must be comfortable working in a busy environment.
For this role the locum will need a minimum of 3 years Registrar O&G experience with a minimum of six months UK/NHS experience essential. Doctors should be comfortable working in a busy unit and MRCOG and PROMPT would be highly desirable.
There is no accommodation on site so this locum post is more suited to those who can commute from Birmingham and the surrounding areas via road or rail.
Rates are expected to be £65-70 PAYE but negotiable.
