CPL Healthcare/ RIG Locums are searching for a Locum Consultant Microbiologist for a Trust in the East of England.
Job details include:
- The role involves mainly answering calls from the hospital clinicians and giving clinical advice to treat infection as well as infection control.
- The role will also deal with the daily blood culture cases as well as follow-up via the phone.
- They will also authorize microbiology reports from specimens processed by the biomedical scientists.
- The candidate will be expected to attend ITU ward rounds via teams to give clinical advice as well as attend the handover sessions at 3pm.
