RIG Locums currently have an URGENT requirement for a Locum Specialty Doctor in Gastroenterology to work in the Lincolnshire area. We can offer a secure 3 month full time post to start as soon as possible with a possible extension.
On call is 1 in 10 Days and 1 in 10 nights and is for Acute medicine. The job will be looking ward based after general medical and gastroenterology patients admitted under the Gastroenterology unit. You will also be supervising Junior staff. The doctor will be expected to lead the daily ward round for a proportion of the patients (the consultant will also be on the ward doing a ward round so available for advice at all times).
The chosen candidate should be able to attend at least a clinic a week and the doctor will be welcome to attend emergency endoscopy during the day (which is done by the ward based consultant) and routine endoscopy lists on an ad hoc basis.
For this role you can secure onsite accommodation and you will be located within 90 mins of an international airport making it easy to travel in and out to the UK cities and Europe.
