I have an exciting new locum position in London working with one of the most well-known Community Child Health Services in the Capital. We are looking for Community Paediatric Consultants to fill a number of positions across the City. Largely, the roles are to cover a gap within their departments while they search for a substantive member of staff. For that reason, it’s highly likely these locum contracts will extend beyond the original guaranteed 3-month requirement.

The vast majority of the position will be to cover and lead the service across Neuro-disability and Safeguarding. If the trust is interested in pursuing a booking with any candidate, there will be a screening call to confirm competency and agree on a job plan.

Compliance

  • As a locum working in the NHS or Private Healthcare, there are Compliance and Registration obligations which we need to complete; the critical parts of this process are below:
  • GMC
  • UK Right to work / Passport or Visa
  • Updated CV
  • DBS
  • 2 x References
  • Immunisation History
  • Mandatory Training

There are additional documents which we will need and I will be here to help you through the whole journey.

The Difference with RIG

  • Dedicated Specialist Recruiter
  • 2 x payrolls per week
  • Full on-boarding services & Expert Compliance Team
  • CPD Scheme
  • Designated Body & Responsible Office Service
  • Framework Approved Agency
  • Niche Agency for long-term bookings within hard-to-fill specialties

I am a specialist recruitment consultant within the Consultant Paeds market and I am dedicated to helping as many General and Community Services as possible throughout the UK. As a father of 2 daughters, I am passionate in my approach and aim to be a genuinely valuable service for the doctors and clients I am lucky to work with. The goal is to help to ease the burden of understaffed and overworked departments to ensure we can deliver the very best care to the children who need it most. They are our future after all!

If any of this appeals to you and you think you would like to work with me, I would love to speak with you about life as a locum and what is on offer. It would be great to be able to work together to help alleviate the stress on all departments in the UK. Please contact me on 07587031067 or brendan.mulvaney@riglocums.com.
