CPL UK Health are currently recruiting urgently for a Locum Assoc Spec in Sexual Health/GUM to take up a long term locum placement in the Wigan region. This is based with a private provider.
Our locum positions will be between 4 and 8 sessions weekly, working short or long days, no weekends. Ideally we want doctors who can commit to filling a part time rota slot for 2-3 months with flexibility on shift patterns.
The applicant will be expected to provide cover for walk in & wait and booked clinics, including at least one evening session. The post-holder will be expected to work without direct supervision, as part of a team providing care for patients in accordance with the standards and guidelines set by Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (FSRH) and British Association of Sexual Health and HIV (BASHH).
Doctors must have a minimum of 3 years experience for these types of roles. Doctors will need to be able to cover contraception and STI clinics and contribute to the Dept in the way of training, audit etc.
