CPL Healthcare UK are recruiting a Locum Consultant Allergist to start immediately with an NHS Department in Liverpool. The role is a full-time agency locum with a minimum cover period of six months, paid directly by the Trust at approximately £100-120 per hour PAYE.
Sample Schedule:
- Mon: 9-13 – Allergy clinic (including nurse supervision)
- Mon: 13-17 – Allergy clinic (including nurse supervision)
- Tues: 9-13 – Allergy clinic
- Tues: 13-17 – Patient admin (letter sign out, triage, clinical liaison and advice, continuing OPD care)
- Wed: 9-13 – Allergy clinic
- Wed: 13-17 – Patient admin (letter sign out, triage, clinical liaison and advice, continuing OPD care)
- Wed: CPD/Audit/mandatory training – 0.5 hour
- Thu: 9-13 – Allergy clinic (including nurse supervision)
- Thu: 13-17 – Allergy clinic (including nurse supervision)
- Fri: 9-13 – R&D, Audit, Teaching, CPD
- Fri: 13-17 – Referrals and A&G
- Fri: 13-17 – Team meeting
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver allergy clinic appointments (including nurse supervision)
- Manage patient administration tasks
- Attend audits and mandatory training
- Support research and teaching
- Handle referrals and adverse events
- Participate in team meetings
