CPL UK Healthcare (formally RIG Locums) are currently looking for a General Adult Consultant or S12 Specialty doctor, NHS based in Lincoln, Lincolnshire area. The role offers highly negotiable rates for a dedicated psychiatrist. The trust seeks an enthusiastic Consultant in Learning Disability Psychiatry to work full-time and it would be excellent for someone wanting to broaden their experience of community and develop their clinical skills in a supportive and challenging environment. The team is well established with good support from senior clinical and managerial colleagues.

The role is full-time at 10 PAs per week and they are interested in hearing from anyone who is seeking a flexible working pattern, with scope for remote working, which is negotiable through the relevant Clinical Director. As the role may entail home visits and travel across the county, it is integral that the postholder is able to travel via car, due to limited public transport.

Main duties of the job:

  • Assessment of new referrals and attending their formulation meetings.
  • Medical review of patients as agreed in multi-disciplinary meetings.
  • Home visits when required.
  • Attending multidisciplinary case review meetings whenever they are arranged.
  • Attending weekly team meeting/leadership meetings.
  • Attending management and academic meetings.
  • Supervision of nurse prescribers.
  • Giving clinical advice to team members as and when needed.
  • To work within a multi-disciplinary team and facilitate individual care and treatment.

Requirements:

  • Full GMC License to practice.
  • Right to Work in the UK.
  • Relevant previous experience working in this type of position.
  • Section 12 approval is essential.
