Do you want the chance to work on a fantastic island hospital based near sunny Spain for the next 6-12 months? CPL UK HEALTH are proudly recruiting for a number of experienced doctors to take up these fixed term Fellow/Registrar roles in Anaesthetics and ICU. The Anaesthetic and Intensive Care Department at this superb Health Authority are looking to recruit Registrars and Fellows to join their team on 6-12 month contracts.

Applicants should have had at least 2 years of core training in Anaesthesia and some experience of Intensive Care Medicine as they will be first on call with a Consultant 2nd on call from home. The job and rota are EWTD compliant comprising less than 48 hours on average per week including non-clinical sessions to help with continuing professional development.

Applicants for this post from outside of the UK who have appropriate qualifications and proof of English language proficiency may be eligible to up to two years exemption from GMC registration. You must hold an EU Passport or UK passport or hold valid UK work visa.

The total remuneration is over £70,000 per annum with income tax currently at just 20-25%. In addition, a rented accommodation allowance of £500 per month is payable to the successful applicant, solely whilst on a fixed term contract and upon submission of an official rental agreement. The authority can also offer a return trip of UK economy class flights to be covered in full. The successful applicant will be eligible for up to 10 days per annum study leave with a single overseas course fully funded by the authority each year.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • GMC Licence to Practice
  • MRCP or FRCA are highly desirable for these roles
  • Approx 2 years core training in Anaesthetics or ICU
  • The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential
