The predicted salary is between 90 - 140 £ per hour.
Applications are invited for a Consultant Radiologist to join a friendly and cohesive team of radiologists with diverse expertise in a busy department and a strong record in teaching, training and research. The applicant would be expected to join existing radiologists in their areas of specialist interest, as well as providing cover for an expanding general diagnostic radiology service and emergency radiology cover, which includes a major trauma service for the Trust.
The posts will attract 10 PAs. In addition to specialist lists, the posts may contain general diagnostic sessions in CT and ultrasound, contributing to cover of evening lists with time off in lieu. The post-holders will participate in a full-time diagnostic on-call rota (approximately 1:12 at present) which will involve weekend sessions in CT when on-call or when at full complement, regular sessional reporting at the weekends on a rotational basis.
Requirements:
- Full GMC registration – EU passport or right to work in UK
- Previous NHS experience would help however not essential
- CT & MR reporting experience
