CPL UK Health are currently recruiting for an experienced Locum Consultant in Gastroenterology for an NHS Trust in the Essex region. This job is to start immediately for three months initially but possibly a little longer. They may delay start for the right candidate.
The job plan will be approximately 40 hours per week, consisting of 8 clinical sessions and 2 admin sessions. The doctor would be required to be on the on-call GI bleed rota (1 in 6), as well as participate in ward-based triage with other consultants on a rota’d basis.
Doctors must hold CCT, have previous NHS experience and will need to obtain 3 years of referencing. The doctor will need to have good communication skills and be able to safely manage all duties.
Payment: This locum role is payable via PAYE and rates are likely to start from £125 per hour upwards.
Accommodation: There is no accommodation available on site; however, we can assist you if you need to find a room elsewhere.
Compliance: We will need the following compliance documents prior to application:

- Occ Health reports
- Mandatory Training
- GMC Cert
- Passport (RTW in the UK)
