CPL UK Healthcare (formally RIG Locums) are currently looking for a General Adult Specialty doctor, NHS based in Colchester, Essex area. The role offers highly negotiable rates for a dedicated psychiatrist. The trust seeks an enthusiastic Specialty doctor in General Adult Psychiatry to work full-time and it would be excellent for someone wanting to broaden their experience of community and develop their clinical skills in a supportive and challenging environment.
The team is well established with good support from senior clinical and managerial colleagues. The post holder will have shared responsibility for the clinical care of those patients referred to the team and will be expected to work closely with the consultant and team manager to ensure the provision of an effective service.
Caseload: Current caseload is about 80-90 patients with about 10% on CPA. At present the team receives about 8-10 new referrals on a weekly basis to the individual teams. In June 2021 there were 34 new clients booked to see the consultant. At present there are 5 patients on CTO and none on MoJ orders. This change in model of care is being monitored and it is expected that there will be a greater involvement of the team members and primary care in management of the cases.
Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week
