Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Procedure Nurse to join our dermatology team in Lancashire. The role involves supporting clinicians with biopsies and excisions , ensuring high standards of patient care and clinical safety. Key responsibilities include assisting with minor surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment, and providing both pre- and post-procedure patient support. The ideal candidate will be a Registered Nurse (NMC) with experience in dermatology or minor surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with biopsies and excisions , ensuring safety, precision, and patient comfort.
- Maintain infection control standards and prepare equipment for procedures.
- Provide patient care before, during, and after procedures, including aftercare guidance.
- Accurately document patient notes and procedural outcomes.
Requirements:
