For Companies Cpl UK Healthcare (formally RIG Locums) are currently looking for an Old Age Consultant, NHS based in Preston, Lancashire. The role offers highly negotiable rates for a dedicated psychiatrist. The trust seeks an enthusiastic Consultant in Old Age Psychiatry to work full-time and it would be excellent for someone wanting to broaden their experience of community psychiatry and develop their clinical skills in a supportive and challenging environment. The team is well established with good support from senior clinical and managerial colleagues.
We are seeking to recruit a Consultant Psychiatrist to work as part of the Rapid Intervention and Treatment Team (RITT) and Memory Assessment Services (MAS) team.
You would be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team and as Consultant you would provide clinical leadership to the teams, with 4 PAs allocated to the RITT and PAs in the MAS team along with a Consultant colleague. All referrals pass through a single point of access and are allocated a Care Co-ordinator who will liaise with the doctor regarding diagnosis and treatment as appropriate. Both the RITT and MAS teams are supported by multiple Consultant colleagues
