We are working with our NHS Client in South Wales to help them secure the services of a Consultant Paediatric Doctor for a 3 month contract, from the end of June. Full details of the job plan are listed below;

Consultants in Paediatric Emergency Medicine

Join a team of 12 forward thinking, dynamic and enthusiastic emergency medicine consultants, committed to providing high quality emergency care?
Join a recently developed Children’s Emergency Unit, and help to develop a truly integrated single point of access system for acute and emergency paediatrics

Work in a department with strong links to pre-hospital care (EMRTS), ITU, research and trauma.
Are encouraged to develop special interests to enhance the current team?
Work closely with acute paediatric consultant colleagues as part of a shared workforce?
Support and develop Emergency, GP and Paediatric trainees?

Our Health Board provides a comprehensive range of community, acute, tertiary, mental health & learning disability services. It serves a local population of over 600,000 people in the area, as well as to a broader population on a sub-regional and regional basis.

Based near the Coastline, the area surrounding the organisation boasts beautiful scenery, affordable housing, excellent schools and higher education along with good road and rail links to London.

As a University HB there are close links with the local University and other University College partners in South Wales especially in the areas of research & development and multi-professional teaching.
