Cpl UK Healthcare (formerly RIG Locums) is seeking an experienced CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist in Winchester for inpatient services. The role involves supporting inpatient care for young people with severe mental health disorders, including emotional dysregulation, self-harm, mood disorders, psychoses, neuropsychiatric disorders, eating disorders, and OCD. The team includes a Specialty Doctor (F/T) and multidisciplinary professionals.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing clinical care
- RC responsibilities
- Treatment with support from an SAS Doctor
Proposed weekly timetable:
- Monday to Friday: 09:00 MDT handover, consultations, team meetings
- 10:00 Community meetings, ward work/admin
- 11:00 Ward work, individual sessions
- 12:00 Supervision
- 13:00 Lunch
- 14:00 Professional development, referrals
- 15:00 Family meetings, admin
- 16:00 Family meetings, admin
- 17:00 End of day
Contract details: Full-time, 40 hours/week, ongoing, starting ASAP, mainly on-site.
