RIG Locums are looking for a Consultant Breast Radiologist for one of the UK’s largest Teaching Trusts in the Midlands. RIG Locums has been assigned by the department to secure the ideal candidate who can join the team for a long‑term locum position from mid-March 2019.
Responsibilities
- You’ll be joining a busy and dynamic department, covering predominantly symptomatic breast work, alongside some general radiology as required.
- Biopsies
- FNAs
- Stereotactic procedures
- Breast ultrasound
- Drainages
- Wire localisations and aspirations
The successfully chosen locum breast radiologist will be working a full‑time rota covering 10 PA’s per week, without on‑calls or extra evening/weekend reporting required. However, if you wish to have extra sessions, this may be a possibility.
Qualifications
- Candidates must hold a GMC Specialist registration and at least 1 year Consultant experience within Breast Radiology or a CCT within Breast Imaging.
