There is a current urgent need for an adhoc Locum GP to cover in the West Midlands. The post is to cover the DAART (Diagnostic, Assessment and Access to Rehabilitation and Treatment) Base. The ideal candidate will have a special interest in the elderly with experience in the care of the elderly and would need to be able to complete assessments of patients for blood transfusions, assessments for iron infusion, IV antibiotics, newly diagnosed DVT with an overall view to admission prevention.
Requirements:
- The successful candidate will be focused on providing high quality care with an exceptional patient experience.
- They will have a passion for excellence and a desire to support and improve the team.
- Registration with the GMC and on the specialist register or GP register.
- License to practice.
- Valid working permit.
- Ideally registered on the Performers List (not essential).
- Primary care experience and ideally some experience in Urgent Care or equivalent.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
