RIEDEL Communications is the leading provider of live production tools in the media, sports and entertainment sectors. To cover our customers' needs holistically, we are divided into three business units: Product Division, Managed Technology & Riedel Networks. Our Managed Technology division rents out our audio, video, IT and communication solutions for international live events and offers a comprehensive service from project planning to on-site implementation.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- You lead the technical design planning, organisation and execution of international motorsport projects in close cooperation with internal specialist departments, ensuring alignment of all technological and commercial aspects.
- You manage projects end-to-end, from customer consultation and concept development to on-site delivery, reporting and documentation across the full project lifecycle.
- You drive the strategic development of motorsport programmes by expanding services for customers in collaboration with the sales team.
- You contribute to innovation and continuous improvement of service portfolio, technical solutions and service quality together with development teams.
- You monitor and control the operational implementation, ensuring quality, timelines and budgets are met while identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
- You lead on-site project teams and take overall responsibility, coordinating external partners, freelancers and service providers across international race calendars.
THAT'S YOU
- Completed apprenticeship or university degree in a technical, business or event-related field.
- Project management experience in international event and within live production environments (motorsport focused experience desirable).
- Strong technical understanding and a keen interest in innovative solutions in audio, video, and network technology.
- Strong leadership skills, assertiveness and a solution-oriented mindset in dynamic, time-critical environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
- Good knowledge of project planning and management methodologies as well as common project management tools.
- Very good English skills, both written and spoken; any other language is a plus.
- High flexibility and willingness to travel internationally on a frequent and intensive basis.
