RIEDEL Communications is the leading provider of live production tools in the media, sports and entertainment sectors. To cover our customers' needs holistically, we are divided into three business units: Product Division, Managed Technology & Riedel Networks.

Our Managed Technology division rents out our audio, video, IT and communication solutions for international live events and offers a comprehensive service from project planning to on-site implementation. It's not just about festivals, like Rock am Ring or sporting events - like Formula 1 or the Super Bowl - but also about guaranteeing all guests a thrilling experience.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Hold overall responsibility for technical management and standards for the Riedel technology within the motorsport segment.
  • Support, development and innovation of our technical standards for all racing series (e.g. Formula 1, WEC, Indy Car).
  • Plan, implement, and operate communication, signaling, and intercom infrastructures for all racing events.
  • Coordinate and technically integrate Riedel systems.
  • Monitor system performance, analyze errors, and troubleshoot problems quickly during events.
  • Disciplinary leadership of the on-site technician team in series production.
  • Development and implementation of onboarding strategies and training programs.
  • Participation in budget and workforce planning.
  • Responsibility for employee development and performance management.
  • Oversee technical preparations, tests, and approvals before the season start and throughout the series.
  • Facilitate coordination between engineering, project management, and experts team.
  • Plan resources, shift schedules, and worldwide deployment of teams.

THAT'S YOU:

  • Completed technical degree in media technology, communications engineering, IT, electrical engineering, or comparable qualification.
  • Several years of experience in a senior technical management / project management position, ideally within international live event or broadcast environments.
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience in both technical and disciplinary management.
  • Deep knowledge of IP-based networks, intercom systems, broadcast technologies, and signal distribution.
  • Ability to operate effectively, also in fast-paced, international contexts.
  • Proven ability to guide and motivate project teams.
  • Willingness to travel worldwide.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken), other languages are a plus.
