We have a fantastic opportunity for a Commercial Property Solicitor (4+ years PQE) to join our growing business, based in Barnsley, Huddersfield or South Elmsall.

Vacancy Type: Full Time, Permanent
Responsibilities:
- Deal with client work as allocated by the Team Leader in charge of the Commercial Property Team in accordance with the firm’s Office Manual and quality standards with minimal supervision.
- Ensure all client work is progressed expeditiously and that the client is kept regularly informed on progress and costs.
- Maintain high standards of client care in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of all the firm’s and client documentation and information.
- Achieve agreed targets for fee income and recording of chargeable time; comply with Solicitors Accounts Rules and the rules on Professional Conduct of Solicitors.
- Maintain clear and precise communications with other personnel and foster good working relationships with external institutions and organisations.
- Support, develop and supervise immediate support staff as required; undertake training and self-development; assist with in-house training as needed.
- Promote the firm’s services and image in liaison with Team Leader and Partners.
- Handle a wide variety of day-to-day cases; manage own caseload and be able to pick up cases partway through; conduct matters on behalf of clients.
- Assist with marketing the firm’s client services and develop own caseload with guidance from the Team Leader.
Qualifications:
- Admission to Solicitors’ Roll (4+ years PQE)
- Experience in Commercial Property law (4+ years PQE)
- Computer skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
