Management Accountant Manufacturing Location: Onsite - Kirkbymoorside, North Yorkshire | Hours: Full-time | Salary: 40,000 - 45,000 depending upon experience | Reports to: Financial Controller Role Overview Our client, a state-of-the-art manufacturing business, based in rural North Yorkshire, is a seeking a proactive Management Accountant to join their finance team. This role is a wide-ranging, in a small finance team, which will support the business by producing accurate management information, analysing operational performance, and providing financial insight to help improve profitability, cost control, and decision-making across the organisation. The successful candidate will work closely with production, operations, purchasing, and senior management to provide clear financial analysis, support budgeting and forecasting, and ensure robust month-end reporting processes. Key Responsibilities * Prepare accurate monthly management accounts, including profit and loss reports, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and journals. * Drive month-end close processes and ensure reporting deadlines are met. * Produce clear commentary on key financial results, trends, risks, opportunities, and variances against budget and forecast. * Monitor capital expenditure, fixed asset registers, depreciation, and investment project costs. * Assist with annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and s...
