Due to continued growth, we’re looking for a Project Coordinator to join our close-knit Leicester team. You’ll join a small, tight-knit team in a fast-paced, hands‑on environment. The Role

This is a brand‑new opportunity to play a key role in supporting the delivery of multiple engineering projects. Working closely with the Project Manager, you’ll help coordinate activity across design, procurement, manufacturing, and international logistics—ensuring projects move forward smoothly and efficiently. You’ll be at the centre of project activity, bringing structure, organisation, and clear communication to a fast‑paced environment with 20+ live projects.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting the coordination and tracking of multiple concurrent projects
  • Managing timelines, milestones, and delivery progress
  • Acting as the link between Design, Procurement, Assembly, Shipping, Installation and Commissioning teams
  • Ensuring design drawings are issued on time and procurement stays on schedule
  • Working alongside the design department to support CE / UKCA documentation
  • Coordinating shipping, export documentation, and logistics
  • Raising commercial invoices and supporting international deliveries
  • Working with QA to help manage parts rejections and quality issues
  • Maintaining project documentation, tracking tools, and reports
  • Communicating updates, risks, and progress to stakeholders

Requirements

Essential

  • Background in engineering
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Good communication skills and ability to work across different teams
  • Proactive, solutions-focused mindset
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to take ownership
  • An intermediate knowledge of MS Office including Word and Excel

Desirable

  • Exposure to project coordination, planning, or scheduling
  • Familiarity with MS Project or similar tools
  • Experience with export/logistics documentation
  • Project management qualifications (e.g. PRINCE2, CAPM)

Career Progression

You’ll work closely with an experienced Project Manager, gaining hands‑on exposure across the full project lifecycle—from design and procurement through to delivery and international shipping. As you build capability and confidence, you’ll have the opportunity to progress into a Project Manager role.
