We are currently seeking a Factory Maintenance Fitter to join our Spray & Pump Division at our Belfast depot. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who enjoys working within a small, dynamic team specialising in a niche product range supplied throughout Ireland.

The Role

As a Factory Maintenance Fitter, you will play a key role in the servicing, repair, maintenance, and preparation of paint spraying equipment. Working closely with our experienced Spray & Pump team, you will support both workshop operations and customer service activities, ensuring equipment is maintained to the highest standards. The successful candidate may also be required to attend customer sites to carry out repairs, installations, and equipment demonstrations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test, service, repair, and clean a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and battery-powered paint spraying equipment.
  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
  • Demonstrate safe operating procedures to hire and sales customers.
  • Order replacement parts and liaise with suppliers as required.
  • Utilise the company's hire and sales computer systems.
  • Attend customer sites to carry out breakdown repairs, installations, and maintenance work.
  • Maintain workshop equipment and work areas in accordance with HAE and ISO standards.
  • Assist with company stock takes and inventory control.
  • Support trade counter operations and provide excellent customer service.

Candidate Requirements

  • Essential: Experience working with mechanical and/or electrical equipment.
  • Full clean driving licence.
  • Strong practical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Desirable: Previous experience in equipment servicing, maintenance, or repair.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Experience working within a workshop or industrial environment.

Training & Development

Full training will be provided where required, including:

  • Equipment testing procedures
  • Company computer systems
  • Forklift operation
  • Product-specific servicing and maintenance training

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:45pm
Friday: 8:00am – 3:30pm
Flexible working arrangements may be considered for the right candidate.
