Ridgeway Education Trust (RET) is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable IT Technician to join our established and supportive IT Services Team. The successful candidate will work across all Trust schools, providing day‑to‑day IT support that helps ensure technology effectively supports teaching, learning, and school operations.

This is a varied, hands‑on role involving direct support for staff and students, maintenance of IT equipment and systems, and collaboration with colleagues to ensure a responsive and high‑quality IT service is delivered across the Trust.

IT Professional Profile
  • Enjoys working as part of a committed and capable team
  • Has strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Is confident engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, including school staff and students
  • Has a good foundation of IT knowledge and the ability to learn and support Trust systems effectively
  • Experience of working in an educational environment is desirable but not essential, as training and support will be provided.
  • A UK Driving License and access to a vehicle is highly desirable.

The position is permanent, full time, 37 hours per week, all year round (excluding bank holidays and personal holiday allocation).
