Ridgeway & Co are working with a Tier 1 Main Contractor in their search for an experienced Site Manager to join the delivery team on a major mixed-use development in Cambridge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day site operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery
  • Supervise subcontractors, trades, and labour to maintain programme and standards
  • Oversee site logistics, health and safety compliance, and quality control
  • Report progress, risks, and issues to the Project Manager and senior team
  • Lead site meetings with subcontractors and contribute to client progress updates
  • Ensure works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications, and company procedures

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager with a Tier 1 main contractor
  • Demonstrated success managing medium to large-scale projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, health and safety, and site management best practice
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
  • Valid CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid certifications
