Quality & Environmental Manager Ridgeway & Co are proud to be working with a leading Main Contractor within the construction industry, who are now looking to appoint an experienced Quality & Environmental Manager to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional to shape, coordinate and enhance the company’s Quality & Environmental function, ensuring that robust systems, standards and best practice are maintained, developed and embedded across multiple live sites and the wider business. The Role Based at their London office, with regular site visits nationwide, you’ll take the lead in: * Driving forward the company’s Quality & Environmental Management System (QEMS), ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, KPIs and ISO standards. * Working hands-on with project teams, senior management and external auditors to maintain and improve certifications including ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, and aligning these with the Safety Management System ISO 45001. * Acting as the Procore Super User, training and upskilling teams on the platform and ensuring consistent digital management of quality and environmental data. * Undertaking site audits, inspections and producing clear reports, promoting continuous improvement, and tracking close-out of non-conformances. * Contributing to PQQs, tenders and the development of Quality Plans and Waste Management templates. * Playing a key role in embedding a positive culture of quality, sustainability and environmental performance company-wide. What We’re Looking For * Degree in Construction Engineering, Construction Management or similar * Sound understanding of the full lifecycle of large construction projects, ideally within a Main Contractor environment * Excellent IT skills with knowledge of construction technology and platforms like Procore * Strong communicator, able to train, guide and upskill teams at all levels * Self-motivated, organised and able to manage multiple priorities * Genuine passion for promoting best practice in quality and environmental management * Demonstrable track record of delivering results, working hands-on and providing strategic input when required * Willingness to travel regularly to sites across the UK
