M&E Quantity Surveyor Ridgeway & Co are working with an established and respected M&E Contractor as they seek an M&E Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team on major projects across Cambridge and the wider region. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a highly regarded specialist contractor delivering complex mechanical and electrical installations on prestigious developments, reporting to a Commercial Manager and working closely with project delivery teams. The Role * Manage commercial and contractual aspects of mechanical and electrical packages from tender to final account * Prepare and submit applications for payment and variations * Assist with subcontractor procurement, measurement and account management * Produce cost reports, forecasts and cash flows for internal and client reporting * Support project delivery teams with commercial advice and cost control * Monitor project progress against budgets and advise on risk and opportunities * Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and colleagues * Contribute to the development and improvement of commercial processes About You * Proven experience as an M&E Quantity Surveyor within a building services or specialist contractor environment * Experience delivering mechanical and/or electrical packages on projects such as commercial, education, healthcare or mixed-use developments * Strong knowledge of standard forms of contract and subcontractor management * Commercially astute with good negotiation and communication skills * Able to work independently and collaboratively within project teams * Full UK driving licence (projects based in and around Cambridge) If interested, please apply with the latest copy of your CV or contact James Bennett on the details provided
