Estimator (Groundworks)

Estimator Location: West London (Head Office Based) Type: Full-Time | Permanent Salary: Up to £100,000 DOE + Package Ridgeway & Co are working with a well-established groundworks and RC frame contractor to recruit an experienced Estimator for their West London head office. This is a great opportunity to join a successful and respected business with a strong pipeline of work across London and the South East. The role will focus on estimating complex groundwork and RC frame packages for a range of commercial and residential schemes. Key Responsibilities: * Analyse tender documentation, drawings, and specifications * Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for groundwork and RC frame projects * Manage take-offs, labour and plant calculations, and pricing schedules * Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to gather quotes and technical input * Support internal tender adjudication and bid submissions * Work closely with commercial, pre-construction, and operational teams What We\’re Looking For: * Proven experience as an Estimator in the groundworks and/or RC frame sector * Strong understanding of technical drawings and estimating methodologies * Proficient in estimating software and Excel * Detail-focused, commercially minded, and deadline-driven * Able to contribute to a collaborative team environment What’s on Offer: * Salary up to £100,000, depending on experience * Excellent package and long-term role stability * Exposure to high-profile projects across London * Supportive team and clear progression path Please apply with your latest CV, or to find out more contact James Bennett for a confidential chat
