Ridgeway & Co are currently recruiting for an experienced Shuttering Foreman / Supervisor to join a leading civil engineering contractor on a long-term project in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong shuttering/formwork and carpentry background who can lead site teams while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising shuttering and formwork operatives on site
- Leading daily briefings, toolbox talks and task allocations
- Ensuring all works are carried out safely and in line with programme
- Coordinating labour, plant and material requirements
- Ordering materials and monitoring site productivity
- Maintaining quality standards and ensuring work meets specifications
- Liaising with the Site Manager and wider project team
- Managing site documentation and ensuring health & safety compliance
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Shuttering Foreman or Shuttering Supervisor
- Strong background in formwork, shuttering and carpentry
- Black CSCS Card (preferred)
- SSSTS or SMSTS
- First Aid at Work
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Experience on civil engineering or infrastructure projects is desirable
