Ridgeway & Co are currently recruiting for an experienced Shuttering Foreman / Supervisor to join a leading civil engineering contractor on a long-term project in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong shuttering/formwork and carpentry background who can lead site teams while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervising shuttering and formwork operatives on site
  • Leading daily briefings, toolbox talks and task allocations
  • Ensuring all works are carried out safely and in line with programme
  • Coordinating labour, plant and material requirements
  • Ordering materials and monitoring site productivity
  • Maintaining quality standards and ensuring work meets specifications
  • Liaising with the Site Manager and wider project team
  • Managing site documentation and ensuring health & safety compliance

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Shuttering Foreman or Shuttering Supervisor
  • Strong background in formwork, shuttering and carpentry
  • Black CSCS Card (preferred)
  • SSSTS or SMSTS
  • First Aid at Work
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Experience on civil engineering or infrastructure projects is desirable
