Ridgeway & Co are working in partnership with a well-established Groundworks & RC Frame contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee multiple live projects across London and Hertfordshire.
This is a senior, hands-on role responsible for the commercial and operational delivery of groundworks and RC frame packages. You will work closely with directors, site teams, and commercial staff to ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, and within budget.
You will be predominantly site-based, with one day per week in the office, supporting planning, procurement, and commercial strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the delivery of multiple groundworks and RC frame projects
- Manage site teams, engineers, and subcontractors across live sites
- Monitor programmes, budgets, and variations to ensure commercial control
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders
- Support procurement, subcontractor appointments, and project planning
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and quality standards across all projects
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within groundworks and RC frame construction
- Strong commercial awareness and programme management experience
- Confident managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to lead site teams and maintain strong client relationships
- Full UK Driving Licence
- £90,000 – £120,000 salary
