Senior Quantity Surveyor - Residential Main Contractor
Location: Central London
Salary: £95,000-£110,000 per annum
Employment: Permanent, Full-Time
Ridgeway & Co Recruitment are working with an established main contractor seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its London commercial team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead commercial management of residential construction projects from procurement through to final account.
- Manage subcontractor procurement, tender analysis, valuations and payments.
- Prepare cost reports, forecasts and cash-flow projections.
- Manage variations, contractual correspondence and commercial risk.
- Work closely with project managers and site teams to protect project profitability.
- Mentor junior commercial staff where required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor.
- Strong background in residential developments, apartments or mixed-use construction.
- Experience managing substantial subcontract packages.
- Excellent knowledge of JCT contracts and commercial procedures.
- Relevant construction or quantity surveying qualification preferred.
