Site Manager in Bournemouth

Site Manager – Fit Out Location: Bournemouth, Dorset Rate: £250 per day Job Type: Contract Sector: Fit Out / Refurbishment The Role Ridgeway & Co are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to join an established contractor on a project in Bournemouth. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of site, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards. This position would suit a Site Manager with a strong background in fit out, refurbishment and internal works, who is confident managing projects through to completion and handover. Key Responsibilities * Day-to-day management of site operations. * Managing and coordinating subcontractors and trades. * Overseeing fit-out, refurbishment and internal packages. * Managing programme and ensuring key milestones are achieved. * Monitoring quality and ensuring works are completed to specification. * Managing health & safety requirements across site. * Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks and daily briefings. * Managing snagging and defects through to final handover. * Liaising with the client, subcontractors and wider project team. * Maintaining accurate site records and progress reports. Requirements * Proven experience working as a Site Manager. * Strong background in fit out, refurbishment or interiors. * Confident managing subcontractors and multiple trades. * Good understanding of construction programmes and sequencing. * Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills. * SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid. * Ability to take ownership of site and drive works through to completion.
