We’re looking for an organised and detail-focused Trade Executive to support the day-to-day operations of Ridgeline’s wholesale business. This role plays a key part in sales operations, trade administration and order coordination, ensuring that trade processes run smoothly and our retail partners receive a high level of service.

Based at our purpose-designed head office in Rugby, this role offers an excellent opportunity to develop experience across sales operations, wholesale administration and commercial support. Ridgeline is an outdoor clothing brand rooted in New Zealand’s outdoor heritage and trusted by those who work and live outdoors. Ridgeline clothing is stocked by leading rural, country and outdoor retailers across the UK and internationally.

The Role

The Trade Executive provides operational and administrative support to the Ridgeline sales team, ensuring that trade data, order processing and account administration are handled accurately and efficiently. You’ll work closely with Account Managers and internal teams to help maintain strong relationships with our retail partners while supporting the day-to-day running of the trade operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Trade Administration & Data Management
    • Process and manage large volumes of data related to trade accounts and sales activity.
    • Maintain accurate records within internal systems and databases.
    • Assist with reporting and data preparation for the sales team.
  • Sales Support
    • Provide administrative support to Account Managers and the Trade Operations Coordinator.
    • Assist with preparing documents, reports and materials for customer meetings and trade shows.
    • Support account management processes to ensure smooth customer communication.
  • Order & Customer Coordination
    • Assist with order processing and administration where required.
    • Help coordinate communication between internal teams and trade partners.
    • Support the resolution of basic order queries or data discrepancies.
  • Operational Support
    • Maintain spreadsheets and internal documentation relating to sales activity.
    • Assist with internal reporting and trade performance tracking.
    • Support the wider operations team with administrative tasks where needed.

About You

Essential

  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills (GCSE Maths and English or equivalent).
  • Proven experience (minimum 1 year) in a fast-paced office environment, administrative support, or data entry role.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail when working with data.
  • Competent in Microsoft Excel and the wider Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Desirable

  • Experience working with ERP or CRM systems.
  • Exposure to sales order processing or logistics coordination.
  • Experience in a wholesale or distribution environment.
  • Vocational qualification or relevant courses in Business Administration, Data Management, or Supply Chain Basics.
