Ridgeline of New Zealand is seeking a full-time Marketing Executive to work across our Trade sales channels. About the Position
The Marketing Executive (Trade) will support the Marketing Manager across all aspects of our trade marketing. Working closely with the merchandising, product development, customer services and trade sales teams, the successful applicant will be responsible for the execution of the Marketing Plan across our Trade channels.
The position is primarily based at our Head Office in the South Leicestershire countryside between Market Harborough and Lutterworth. The ideal candidate will be located within reasonable commuting distance of our office and will be prepared to travel occasionally throughout the UK to attend trade shows, partner meetings and consumer shows.
What You\’ll Do
Execute the Ridgeline Annual Marketing Plan across our Trade Channels.
Manage the marketing communications aspects of the Ridgeline Trade Pre-Sale process—developing and producing a range of sales support material including product catalogues and presentation collateral.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive range of in-store POS, consumables and promotional support material (drawing on the library of Ridgeline assets) to enable Ridgeline stockists and partners to maximise in-season sell-through.
Work with the Product Development Team to source, manage and maintain our warehouse of product photography samples—liaising with a range of external partners including photographic studios and freelance producers to ensure timely delivery and return of product samples.
Maintain the Ridgeline asset library and ensure that stockists are fully utilising and correctly applying the resources that are available.
Working with the Ridgeline Trade Sales team, develop, manage and execute a range of collaborative promotions with Ridgeline\’s stockist partners.
Manage and produce all marketing communications aspects of Ridgeline\’s presence at both consumer and trade shows—including developing show stands, display material, promotional activity and show brochures.
Manage the communication of the Annual Marketing Plan to our stockist partners —including regular email and social media updates.
Maintain the online Wholesale Portal to reflect weekly trading campaigns and maximise the selling opportunity of the Trade Channel.
Represent the brand at Trade Shows and Consumer Shows throughout the year as required.
Who You Are
Of graduate calibre with 1-3 years\’ professional marketing experience—ideally gained within an apparel brand or an outdoor/country clothing/sportswear retailer.
Well-organised with meticulous attention to detail.
Personable with good written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to work autonomously or collaboratively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and partners.
A personal interest in the country lifestyle or outdoor sports (and functional apparel) would be advantageous.
There will be opportunities for travel throughout the UK to attend trade shows, partner meetings and consumer shows.
