This position is term-time only, 38 weeks per year, salary scale points 7 - 11 (£26,403 FTE to £28,142 FTE) depending on experience. The working hours are 8.45 am - 3.15 pm (0.5 hours for lunch). September 2026 start.
Ridgefield Primary School is a small one form entry school in Cambridge with approximately 210 pupils, and we also benefit from a 26-place nursery. We have a team of committed staff that make learning fun and exciting and they reflect the very best of classroom practice and quite simply enjoy their profession. - Support the teaching and learning of children across the school
- Support the class teacher in managing classroom dynamics and maintaining a safe, inclusive environment
- Have worked previously as a Level 3 teaching assistant
- Have experience of working with SEN children
- Have experience of working on a 1:1 basis
- Enjoy working with children
- Have high expectations of children and themselves
- Be flexible, creative and upbeat
- Be a team player who collaborates well with staff, families and the wider community
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
